Kidney disease is a non-communicable disease (NCD) and currently affects around 850 million people worldwide. One in ten adults has chronic kidney disease (CKD).

This year World Kidney Day continues to raise awareness of the increasing burden of kidney diseases worldwide and to strive for kidney health for everyone, everywhere. Specifically, the 2020 campaign highlights the importance of preventive interventions to avert the onset and progression of kidney disease.

Navdeep Public School along with Save Kidney Foundation will conduct a program to raise awareness about kidney health. Dr. Praveen Namboothiri, the Chairman of Save Kidney Foundation will be the Chief Guest of the day.

When is the event?

The unique and inexhaustible aspect of life will be presented through this year’s theme ‘Parivarthana’ . The budding talents of Navdeep will put on a show and enthral everyone with the magical elixir of music and dance.

The Chief Guest of the day will be Rev. Dr. Sunil Sesadima, OFM Cap., Rector and Superior, Bodhi Institute of Theology, Kollam and Head of the Department of Scripture.

Dr. R. Sindhu, Scientist at Microbial Processes and Technology Division, CSIR – National Institute for Inter Disciplinary Science and Technology, Trivandrum will be the Guest of Honour.

When is the event?

The students of Class XI will host a farewell function for the outgoing students of Class XII on 16th January, 2020.

Mr. Cletus Austin, Chairman - Navdeep Educational Trust will deliver the presidential address.

When is the event?

The Navdeep Christmas Celebrations 2019 will be conducted on the 20th of December, 2019.

The Chief Guest invited for this function is Fr. Babu Robert, OFM (cap.),
Manager - Assisi Press, Tillery, Kollam.

An etiquette and fine dining session will be conducted for the students of Class XII to teach them how to carry themselves with poise and class, in corporate and other formal occasions they will undoubtedly be a part of in the future.

The resource person invited for this function is Chef Ramu Butler, who is a restaurateur, VP South Indian Chef Association and a corporate trainer. He will be joined by Ms. Asha Thomas Fenn, a corporate consultant and academic advisor.

When is the event?

The School will conduct an excursion to Thekkady for the students of Class X and XII. Those interested are requested to register your names with your class teachers.

This will be a two day programme with a one night stay in Thekkady.

As a tribute to a great leader, statesman and our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Children's Day will be celebrated on 14th November, 2019 at Navdeep Public School.

In order to raise awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of drugs, an Anti-Drug day will be observed on 14th November, 2019 in cooperation with "Vimukthi" and awareness programme by the Kerala State Excise Department.

Sports and games are an essential component in the holistic development of a child. The Annual Sports Meet and the events leading up to it provides an opportunity for our students to discover, develop and exhibit their athletic abilities.

The Chief Guest for the day will be Mrs. Shylaja Mohan, Associate Professor Lekshmi Bhai National Education, Trivandrum.

The students of today are tomorrow's visionaries and torch bearers.

The Investiture Ceremony is the culmination of our School elections during which the School cabinet is formed. Mr. A. Prateep Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kollam, has been invited to be the Chief Guest.
